After a busy few days travelling, we arrived to a typical warm welcome at the airport.
It was so lovely to be greeted by huge smiles and big cuddles from both Charity and Francis. It felt like we had never been away and picked up where we had left off.
All MLOLs, cases and passports arrived safely to Kabula (although it was almost only three passports after I left mine on the plane and had to go back).
It felt so good to be back!
Kabula feels like the ultimate retreat with the fantastic views and tranquil setting. It was lovely to finally let Karen and Robyn see the wonderful place we had been describing in the weeks leading up.
After a nap, we got unpacked and went for some food. With full tummies and a full heart, I had the best sleep I have had in a long time.
Tucked underneath my mosquito netting poster bed (which resembles the “princess” bedding I always wanted as a little girl) I couldn’t wait for my first full day back in Malawi.
