Another busy day at Ndirande centre with lots of fun learning. We learned about body parts by drawing round the children with chalk. They loved seeing their outline on the ground. The children were learning their numbers at lesson time with the caregivers, I then suggested they do some mark making
numbers on the ground outside the centre. ,They used stones and their fingers to write numbers and other mark making on the ground. I also read the story 'Giraffes Can't Dance' with the help of our translator Karen (to around 100 children!). The children enjoyed the story and joined in with some of the actions as I read the story. The days are flying by, can't believe we only have less than a week to go!
